  1. 1 lb pasta (linguine, spaghetti; your choice)
  2. 1 lb bacon
  3. 4 eggs
  4. 1/4 cup parmesan or romano cheese grated
  5. Optional parsley to garnish and plenty of black pepper
  1. Put water on to boil for pasta.
  2. Dice the bacon and saute in a pan.
  3. Beat eggs in a large pasta bowl and stir in cheese. Cook to just done not crisp. Cook pasta el dente.
  4. Drain pasta and pour over egg mixture. Immediately pour the bacon with all the grease over the pasta and eggs. Toss til well coated. The eggs and bacon should make a rather creamy sauce for the pasta. The heat from the pasta and bacon will cook the eggs.
  1. Options: Add garlic. Add peas. Use pancetta. More bacon!
