Ingredients
  1. 1 Froze Pie Crust
  2. 1-1.5 lbs Pulled Pork
  3. 1 1lbs steak(Grilled medium rare prior to cooking for optimal epicness)
  4. 1 package of bacon
  5. 1/2 lbs beef brisket
  6. 1 bottle tomato based sweet BBQ Sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s Original is always a good choice)
  7. 3 tbsp Vinegar based BBQ Sauce
  8. 1 shot of Jack Daniels
Instructions
  1. Take pie crust out and let come to room temperature while you’re doing everything else.
  2. Preheat oven to 375
  3. In a bowl, mix pulled pork with sweet BBQ sauce till it is thoroughly covered. This may not require the entire bottle…don’t have the pork swimming here unless you want soggy pie!
  4. Take pork and place in pie crust filling it half way.
  5. Layer brisket on top of pork filling.
  6. Cut steak into 1/5th inch thick slices that are between 1 to 2 inches in length. (Think fajita sized pieces of steak)
  7. Cover brisket in steak (It will be over the top of the pie crust at this point)
  8. Take Jack Daniels and gently brush a portion of it over the steak with a basting brush. There should still be a decent portion of the Jack Daniels left after this step.
  9. Drizzle vinegar based BBQ sauce over steak. Do not evenly coat, but do try to spread this out evenly.
  10. Apply the remaining Jack Daniels to mouth and swallow.
  11. Once bacon weave is done (should not be fully cooked yet), remove it from the oven.
  12. Place over pie.
  13. Use knife to cut bacon weave into shape of pie.
  14. (If you’re pro eat excess bacon…or if not, finish cooking in the oven with the pie first…)
  15. Cook pie in oven for 30 mins at 375 or until bacon is a light golden brown in color. (You do not want the bacon to be crispy or it will break everywhere…never crisp a bacon weave…it’s meant to be flexible)
  16. Let sit for a few mins.
  17. Slice and serve (Scalding yourself if you added too much of the BBQ sauce in the first step… see… this is why we listen).
